North Shore Sunset // Winter
Wonderfully weird mini-weaving in shades of a sunset on the North Shore of Nova Scotia in the winter. Like summer, but more subtle.
Blue and grey to represent the water, tan for the sand, and pops of fluro orange + fluro yellow roving to reflect the colours of the sun as it dipped below the horizon. And extra long cream fringe for the snow that coats the coast.
Each piece is hand woven in Toronto, using materials sourced locally or secondhand. No two weavings are alike.
